Wedding Planning 101: Tackling The Seating Chart

Oh the joys of wedding planning! Some tasks are definitely more fun than others. For instance, cake tasting definitely trumps planning your seating chart. While it may not be the most glamorous task of wedding planning it is still important. Let me start off by saying I’m really not sure how people planned weddings before Pinterest. Seriously, how?!

I came across this great idea on Pinterest the other day & just had to share it. When planning your seating chart use small sticky notes so you can easily move people around while you get it all figured out. In this picture they used different colors for each guest depending on their relationship to the bride & groom (Friends, Family, Coworkers, etc). This could be a great way to make sure the tables are well balanced to ensure guest have a great time at your reception.
